Otomako

About

An independent studio turning complicated processes into systems people can run.

Otomako is an independent product and automation studio building operations automation, internal tools and custom digital products. AI is one of the tools; what we deliver is an operation that works.

Position

We are not an AI agency.

AI has become a prefix attached to everything. We are after a result rather than a technology: less work done by hand, no enquiry lost, an operation you can actually see.

Sometimes that calls for a model. More often it calls for a clear rule, the right integration, or a screen that never gets built at all. Which one it is gets decided by looking at the process, not by what we would prefer to sell.

Focus

Why healthcare is a strong area for us

Healthcare organisations are one of the few kinds of business where communication is heavy, the process is regular and mistakes are expensive. When those three meet, building a system genuinely pays. The same conditions exist in logistics, services and other operations-heavy sectors; healthcare is simply where our field experience is deepest.

Otomako is not a healthcare provider. We do not offer medical diagnosis, treatment or advice. Our work is the administrative and operational infrastructure healthcare organisations run on.

How we operate

A small studio with one point of contact.

  • The same team from audit to handover

The person who sells isn't a different person from the one who builds. Whoever you speak to is doing the work.

  • Few projects, taken deeply

We don't run many engagements at once. The attention it takes to make a system actually settle doesn't divide well.

  • Written communication

Scope, decisions and changes are recorded in writing, so that why something was built a particular way is still findable six months later.

Getting started

Tell us what costs you the most time.

Describe the work that repeats, runs late or scatters between tools. In the first call we'll establish what suits automation and where it makes sense to start.

After you send the form

  1. A reply within two working daysWe read your message and suggest a time that suits you.
  2. A 30–45 minute discovery callA working session that maps the process, not a sales pitch. If it isn't a fit, we'll say so plainly.
  3. A written summaryAfterwards we put in writing what could be built, in what order, and within what scope.
